This website provides an overview of C.R.A.I.N.E.S, a project to introduce Wastewater Based Surveillance (WBS) as an evidence-based strategy for SARS-CoV-2 surveillance in the jails of Atlanta, Chicago, suburban Boston and Washington, DC. The purpose of this site includes an introduction to our study team, information on our four (4) collaborating sites, and required tax and consent forms needed for participants.

The RADx-UP CDCC Building Community Capacity and Impact (BCCI) Working Group collaborated with the CDCC Group Model Building team to create a visual representation of what helps, or hurts, equitable COVID-19 testing. In this resource, you will see a table with visual diagrams and written explanations of the working group's insights into community processes that impact COVID-19 testing.

The Masking and Mitigation Considerations Calculator (MC2) is an online tool based on a hypothetical model generated from the most recent mitigation strategy data. School leaders can enter a districtβs specific size (number of students) and current community case rates (cases/100,000 population/7 days), and the MC2 will estimate the impact of mitigation strategy decisions on the school district and community.

It is powered by 2-1-1 helplines, the top surveillance system for social needs like housing, food, utility bills, transportation, child care and health care. Every day, 2-1-1s respond to nearly 40,000 calls for help, carefully tracking each need. Focus-19 and 211Counts.org scan these data hourly to identify rising needs in communities across the U.S.
